Good Points: easy to access
Bad Points: none
I have found this account very easy to set up and gather information on. It seems to allow you to put your money in with little hassle and when I spoke to staff they seemed to know the product well. I found them to be very knowledgeable and friendly and assisted in the whole process. The account means that you can get a tax free lump at the end which is exactly what I was looking for as an alternative to a child trust fund. I would certainly recommend this product to other parents who are looking for this. I have put 100 words in but it still wont accept my review!

Good Points: Quality of info
Bad Points: None
I found the literature easy to read. It was well written and easy to understand. It laid out all the steps that were needed in such a manner that they were easy to follw. Customer services were very helpful on my specific query. I asked my question, they repeated it to make sure they had understood it fully and then gave me advice and guidance. I found this very helpful. They quality of information was very good. The staff that I encountered were all very friendly. I was very pleased with the experience. I would recommend them to others. Very pleased

Good Points: Ease of us, Good Communication
Bad Points: Im not sure what shares are invested or what will affect the growth of the money.
I found it very easy to use this account. I did not choose this account or bank as I did not use my Trust Fund Voucher. I was contacted by Scottich Friendly Scoiety to tell me my daughters money had been placed with them. I then received an update of the account sometime after. I have since had asecond child and have decided to opt his trust fund money into the same account. It is a share based one which means the money could grow or deplete all together. I chose to set up an alternative savings account to regulary save money in, and when my childre turn 18 they can have whatever is in their trust fund to have fun with!

Good Points: I didn't arrange this myself, I had it arranged for me as I didn't arrange the trust fund account before my daughter turned 1 but they sent me information straight away and send me a regular statement.
Bad Points: I do not know how to access the account details or where any branches are.
The account is easily manageable and information sent regularly so I can keep an eye on my daughters account. I have not put any of my own money into the account as we have another account for her with another bank which is more easily accessible for me and my family. I would be able to find out where the branches are if I looked in to it but at the moment I am happy with the regular information I receive. The money has gone up and down since the account opened which is why I have not put anymore money in to it as I worry that it may be a bad investment but this could change.

Good Points: Scottish Friendly TESPs All the information which i was looking for was avilable on the website and most of it was pretty clear and precise. Fairly easy to key in all the required details and the actual process was fairly swift.
Bad Points: None
bad points - Scottish Friendly TESPs The font used was very small and not particularly easy to read. In some ways there was too much information on the screen which should have been grouped more sensibly into separate Links. Overall the screens were not very well designed Scottish Friendly are a good reputable company which I have had dealings with before and their service has been ok. The Tax Exempt Savings Plan (TESP) do not seem to be heavily advertised and overshadowed by CTF'S. Also i did find it difficult to get information on the current performances of Friendly Societies who offered TESP's . This may have been because it is all lumped in with CTF's.
